I would like some clarification on withdrawals of monies in Roth IRA's. I am over 60 and fulfill the requirements of having the Roth for over five years. Do I pay state income tax in NC on withdrawals from the Roth? I know the Federal tax is exempt. Thank you!

RESPONSE: No. If no federal tax is due, no NC tax is due.
